SOLIDWORKS Juice Dispenser Tutorial – Part 2
It’s that time of year, the kids have just head back to school and they are growing like weeds! In an effort to teach the kids a bit more independence, we are designing and 3D printing a custom juice dispenser so they can serve themselves in a fun and easy way.
Throughout this 3-part series, we’ll run through some basic modeling techniques in SOLIDWORKS. We’ll give a few pointers for splitting up and printing larger parts on desktop 3D printers, and we’ll hit the workshop to assemble and finish all of our components.
Welcome back to our 3-part series where we are celebrating our budding engineers by designing and building a custom refrigerator juice dispenser! In part 1 of the series, we laid out the basic shape of the dispenser shell. In part 2, we’ll wrap up the design by modeling a removable lid and several internal details of the dispenser using more essential modeling techniques as well as some unique sketch patterning tools.
