We’re accomplishing this by integrating with RealTime™ data capture into the application, helping to reduce their reliance on paper-based reporting.

SHOPWORKS, a touchscreen, web-based shop floor interface, improves production efficiency with configurable Work Center dashboards.  Key benefits include streamlining data access and RealTime™ information collection and availability, improving quality, and reducing costs for optimal operations performance. SHOPWORKS digitizes manufacturing operations and improves production efficiency.

During the SHOPWORKS development cycle, we kept three main objectives in mind. The first objective was around simplifying the shop floor operator with the goal to increase adoption and empower supervisors and operations manager with the ability to preset machine operator workflows, creating a connected worker environment.

The second objective was to deliver a fully integrated solution to our finite scheduling and ERP system, breaking down silos and seamlessly delivering the latest schedule changes to the production floor while enforcing a schedule sequence but while flexible enough to override via escalated privileges.

The third objective addresses connecting diverse workforce communities with a tailored, customizable legacy nomenclature to increase its adoption. We continue to address diverse workforce communities by providing an easy-to-deploy and maintain, multi-lingual solution.

The SHOPWORKS role delivers the opportunity to connect your people, equipment, and throughput using a paperless environment with minimal infrastructure and operational costs.

What do some of the SHOPWORKS features look like?

The connected worker has the capability to customize the dashboard layout experience to easily access the activities the operator uses the most. So each shop floor operator, permanent or temporary, can have a personalized experience, allowing quick onboarding and effective flow through essential production operator tasks including: Tasking in and out jobs, reporting downtime, rejects, and production.

Additionally, the connected worker can quickly identify job progress, and access the latest, approved documents assigned to the Bill of Manufacture, Inventory Item, and Customer.
