Simple Surface Part Five: This door handle is an example of a part created without using any solid body features.A few of the initial features could have been created using standard solid features such as an Extruded or Revolved Boss/Bases.The Boundary Surface feature uses one edge and one Sketch in one direction to create the desired geometry. The Surface Knit feature is used to merge the four surfaces bodies into one by “stitching” them together. Check out the Simple Surface Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4 Part Reviewer tutorials to learn more.
