Don’t Miss Seeing the Live Shop Floor at 3DEXPERIENCE World

As we head into the final months of 2019 and the release of SOLIDWORKS 2020, it is time to start thinking about 3DEXPERIENCE World 2020!  If you haven’t attended a conference in the past, you may not be aware of our live Shop Floor and the advanced manufacturing technology that we showcase each year.  The feedback from attendees has been overwhelming, and we are looking to make this year the best yet.

The Shop Floor at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2020, which will be located inside the 3DEXPERIENCE Playground (formerly the Partner Pavilion),  is going to be one to see as we are going to machine components of a prosthetic device that is developed by Mike Schultz and the Center for Advanced Design.  This design has quite literally changed the lives of people who participate in action sports as well as those who want to be more active in their day-to-day lives.

The Biodapt VF2 is a high-performance prosthetic foot used for sports and recreational activities. Offering shock absorption and a wide range of adjustability and tuning options, it’s the perfect product to guide your technical deep dive into the manufacturing process.

The Shop Floor will also expand this year to show more of the manufacturing process from start to finish.  The Shop Floor will include sales, design, scheduling, programming, the 3DEXPERIENCE Marketplace, the digital twin, programming and running of the components with real-time data monitoring.  All of these components play  critical roles of the manufacturing process.

We will have experts in each area on hand to help educate attendees and answer questions as to how these processes work throughout the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to make companies understand their business and make the best decisions in an ever-evolving market.

From running CNC equipment to welding and painting Michael has been hands-on in all aspects of bringing products to market. Michael is also certified in many areas of mfg and a CSWP.
