Event App Mania Invades SOLIDWORKS World 2015!

While the SOLIDWORKS World 2015 live experience is shaping up to be truly memorable, we wanted to deliver a little something extra this year. With that in mind we are very happy to announce that our SOLIDWORKS World 2015 Event App is now available for download to all those registered to attend this year’s show!

We are very excited about the app for all kinds of reasons, but we suspect the thing you’ll enjoy most about the app is how it will enhance your entire #SWW15 experience by providing you with a great opportunity to connect with each other!

Our event app allows you to:

View and manage your complete event schedule, explore all of the offered sessions, and get detailed presenter information.
Keep your pulse on the most popular sessions and events by accessing the app’s Activity Feed, which highlights useful comments, photos and more!
Get information on all the amazing partners showcased in our Partner Pavilion.
Don’t get lost on the huge floor; you can access full floor plans for the entire event space within the app.
Take event and breakout session surveys directly from your device.
Receive announcements and obtain the most up-to-date event information. Most importantly – connect with other participants and expand your professional network while having some fun!

For the App we’ve partnered with Double Dutch, a true trail blazer when it comes to providing event apps (that is all they do, and they do it really well!). That said, over the next week we’ll continue roll out upgrades with a goal of making your app experience nothing short of fantastic.

To login to the app:

Once you have downloaded the app, you will be required to enter your username and password, that was created when you registered for the event. Your event confirmation email will have your username information and if you forget your password, you can easily reset the password via the app.

In addition, as you register while onsite at SOLIDWORKS World 2015 you’ll also have the opportunity to connect with our App Champions Team at the registration desk and they will be able to help you download and access the App if you need any help. For Resellers and Employees:

You will have access to the main SOLIDWORKS World app and schedule, as well as the SOLIDWORKS World Reseller app and schedule.

To switch between the two, follow these easy steps within the app.
Within the navigation, scroll down to “Switch Event/Logout.”
Click “Switch Event/Logout, you will see two options “SOLIDWORKS World” and SOLIDWORKS World – Resellers.”
Click on your selection and this will bring you to the appropriate content.
You can easily toggle between these two sections throughout the conference.
Note, the activity log and networking are separate in each app environment.

So head on over to the app store and get started by downloading the app and posting a great photo!
