Complex Machine Part 6: This is a machined part that has extruded features, some revolved features, and some special cuts that include swept cuts and a boundary cut. Offset entities are used which allows for the cut wall geometry to update automatically if there are design changes of the parent feature (in this case Sketch1). The inverted pocket’s edges are knit with the main surface body creating a solid body. The model is split so that center section could be shelled.
