SOLIDWORKS Part Reviewer: Strain Relief Tutorial
Strain Relief: Revolve is used to define the main shape of the plug and living hinge. Mirror creates identical sides of the plug. A derived sketch is used to simply and stably transfer geometry and ensure alignment when the part is folded. This sketch controls the shape of the wedge. Planes are created to build the hinge and ensure only the plug and hinge will move when the part is flexed.
