Up, Up and Away Princeton’s WC Jones Explores the Universe

Princeton WCJones Spider Close_up

When Steve Benton, a graduate student at the University of Toronto took a photo of.  Alexandra Rahlin, graduate student at Princeton University, they never knew the photo would be shared with the SolidWorks community.

Alexandra is a graduate student of Princeton’s Physics Professor WC Jones.  They are using SolidWorks to design the Spider.

Dr Jones and his team produced a video of the Spider payload during the  integration campaign at the NASA balloon base this summer.

Can anyone recognize the model on the back of Alexandra’s shirt?  SAE collegiate events lead to so many wonderful paths, even up.

Thank you Dr Jones, Alexandra and Steve for sharing the joys of physics with SolidWorks community.  Marie
