Solar Cars, Robots, Trebuchets! Chicago and Atlanta students pursue careers in STEM
One mission: increase the number of minority, female and under served students who pursue careers in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
Project SYNcERE (Supporting Youth’s Needs with Core Engineering Research Experiments), is fulfilling the dreams of students in their afterschool, in-school, emerging engineers, summer camps, and community outreach programs.
Project SYNcERE provides curriculum for grades 3-12 that integrates science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through the use of project-based learning. Since 2009, they have supported over 4000 students in Chicago area and expand this year to Atlanta.
