Algerian Ministry of Education Selects SolidWorks
Algerian Ministry of Education has signed an agreement to deploy SolidWorks’ Education Edition software application in technical classes across all of its 550 high schools.
The Ministry has been involved in a series of reforms to align the education system with international norms and increase the effectiveness of foundation courses, particularly in science and math.
The Ministry will deploy 100 licenses of the SolidWorks application in each of its 550 schools and provide remote laptop access to the software for every student.
SolidWorks Reseller, ALCADWorks will work closely with the Ministry to implement deployment to help improve students’ ability to compete in an international, knowledge-based economy.
All schools will be providers of the Certified SolidWorks Associate Exam and Certified Sustainable Design Exam.
Students will also be able to take advantage of a Student Engineering Kit (SEK) license, which they can use on their personal computers in order to improve their knowledge of SolidWorks and SolidWorks Simulation and develop the their creativity.
I thank my colleague Reda for his dedication to education in this region.
