SolidWorks Student has a Dream

My colleague, Larry Moore  introduced me to the wonderful final senior projects Industrial Design students create at the University of Cincinnati.  One student, JudahSher, happened to take his final project to the next level and created his own company.  The project and the process is one that I share with you because I think many students have this dream.

Industrial design students create amazing portfolios.  One thing that made Judah's portfolio stand out was the actual case he designed in SolidWorks.

A series of photos, images and drawings display one of Judah's design, an open source CNC machine.  This open source CNC machine is the focal point of Judah's dream.

Currently, Judah is trying to get funding from Kickstart.com  He is also renting space from a fab lab, Artisan's Asylum of Somerville.

Judah was also happy to share with me how to make access to SolidWorks tools better for ID students, so I created a youtube playlist under our SolidWorks channel.

Good luck Judah in your goal.  Marie
