Both options give you the ability to store, collaborate and manage your data on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, but the browser-based roles, such as 3D Creator run entirely on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, so you work from any internet-enabled device, and the cloud-connected solutions, such as 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS, require a local installation.
