Six Sessions on Browser-based Design You Don’t Want to Miss at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2025

Hello, and Happy New Year!

I’m Chris Pagliarini and my team and I are gearing up for 3DEXPERIENCE World, our annual user event, taking place in Houston, Texas, February 23-26. You may recognize me as I had the opportunity to present on the main stage last year on the SOLIDWORKS Cloud Design (xApps).

If you’re attending and curious about the xApps or already using them, here is a list of sessions my team and I will be presenting that you don’t want to miss.

The xApps include solutions for parametric design, subdivision (SubD) modeling design, and motion analysis, to name a few. There’s even a new mechatronics solution you can get a first look at.

Here’s a bit more about me before I introduce you to my team and sessions.

As a product portfolio manager at Dassault Systèmes since 2019, I bring over a decade of hands-on experience with SOLIDWORKS and a strong background in aerospace and defense design. My career has been deeply rooted in engineering innovation, with a focus on Model-Based Definition (MBD) to streamline design processes and enhance collaboration. I currently work closely with the xDrawing app that combines both MBD and 2D drawings, as well as our other xApps, to develop tools that empower users to achieve precision and efficiency.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, I’m passionate about advancing design and manufacturing technology. Outside of work, I am always seeking adventure – whether it’s traveling, golfing, skiing, or spending quality time with family and friends.

You can catch me in the following sessions:

  • A Meet-Up for Browser-based CAD in the Cloud
  • Teach Like a Boss: New Tools and Strategies for Engineering and Educators
  • Efficient Design: Mastering Contextual Tools and AI-Driven Shortcuts
