The flurry of activity continues in the SolidWorks User Group Network with eight meetings scheduled this week.  Texas groups are leading the charge with meetings in Houston, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi.

San Antonio Celebrates 10 Years!!

The San Antonio SolidWorks User Group was formed in 2002 as a spin-off of the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group.  SASUG (affectionately pronounced "sausage") will look back over the past ten years tonight with a special one hour retrospective presented by group leader Jim Lowery. I'm looking forward to being there as well.

SolidWorks User Groups will also meet this week in Denver, Kansas City, Seattle, Huntsville (AL), and Davenport (IA).

And some other stuff….

SWUGN Summit – Chicago is on the Calendar
The first SWUGN Summit event of 2013 will be held in Chicago on April 30th.  The last Chicago event in 2010 set an attendance record for SWUGN Summits not held in Minneapolis.  Registration is now open.

DS SolidWorks Executive Tours
Gian Paolo Bassi, DS SolidWorks VP of Research and Development kicks of the 2013 Executive tours with stops in St. Louis, Missouri and Evansville, Indiana later this month.  DS SolidWorks executives will be attending meetings all over the world this year – check the SWUGN Calendar for details.

There are 35 meetings currently on the SWUGN calendar, and one may be happening in your town.  Use the SWUGN "Find a Group" page to find the local SolidWorks User Group chapter nearest you.

Richard Doyle
My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
