Announcing the winner of the SolidWorks World 2012 Hobbyist Contest

We announced the SolidWorks World 2012 hobbyist contest on January 5, and we got some great entries. Thanks to everyone who entered. But to us, the one that really stood out was Kevin Lin's full-size 2-player game controller for the Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator (MAME) program suite. If you didn't see it, check out Kevin's website. It's a really cool idea, and even cooler seeing it go from idea to reality.

Kevin, we'll see you in San Diego next month. And to everyone else, stay tuned for another chance to win a pass to SolidWorks World 2012 later this week.

Don't forget, you can still save $100 if you register now through January 20, 2012. If you pay for two registrations, we'll throw in a third for free, and as always, CSWPs save $100. You can see all of our registration deals at the SolidWorks World website.
