Announcing the SolidWorks World 2012 Trivia Contest!

SolidWorks World 2012

SolidWorks World 2012 in San Diego may be nearly four months away, but the first early bird deadline to save $200 is coming up next week on October 28. If you haven't registered or convinced the boss to send you yet, here's your first chance to get in for free.

For a chance to win a free pass to SolidWorks World 2012, just leave a response to this blog entry with an answer to the following trivia question:

SolidWorks World 2008 was held in San Diego, and over 4700 hundred people attended. How many people who attended in 2008 were actually from San Diego?

The person who guesses the right answer (or comes closest to it) wins a pass to SolidWorks World 2012. One guess per person, please. You have between now and 11:59 PM EDT on Wednesday, October 27 2011 to enter. We'll pick and announce a winner on the morning of October 28.

Of course there are restrictions, which you'll find in the complete rules included below. So make sure you read them. In a nutshell, you're not eligible if you're a SolidWorks employee, or you work for a SolidWorks reseller or SolidWorks solution partner. You have to get to San Diego on your own and put yourself up. And the contest is void in Brazil, Quebec, China, and where otherwise prohibited or restricted by local or national law. Sorry.

And don't forget, you can still save $200 if you register by October 28. If you pay for two registrations, we'll throw in a third for free, and as always, CSWPs save $100. You can see all of our registration deals at the SolidWorks World website.
