Hey Linux fans, your DraftSight wishes have been granted

Remember way back to last summer when DraftSight first went into beta, and the team teased everyone with the promise of Mac and Linux versions? Well, in true "better late than never" fashion, the team is making good on what they promised.

So today, we're happy to announce that a beta version of DraftSight is now available for the Linux platform. As with the Windows and Mac versions, DraftSight for Linux allows you to create, edit and view DWG files. And, of course, it's free to download and use. You can get DraftSight for Linux here.

Here are a few shots of DraftSight in all its Linuxy glory.
