Devon Sowell Somehow Gets 29 Hours in His Days

He must.  How else could he run his business, write two blogs (here and here), write books, and take some really cool family vacations?  I think his next project should be a book on time management.

But first, Devon has decided to start a user group.  The MiraCosta College SolidWorks User Group was registered with SWUGN today, and the first meeting is planned for October 10th.  The meeting coincides with an open house event of the MiraCosta College Drafting Department that will be attended by faculty, alumni, students, and industry representatives.  Sounds like a good way to build up a member database in a hurry.

Devom seems to excel in everything he does, so I’ll go ahead and wish him good luck, but I suspect luck will have nothing to do with the success of his latest venture.

My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
