3 Tricky Shapes: There are three parts in this assembly. Two of the parts are made from strictly surface features. The other part uses solid and surface features(hybrid) to create the geometry. Open up the parts individually to review all the features comments. Each parts represents a different shape using surface and solid bodies features. When there is a need to make similar shaped model, these parts can give some guidance or insight on making non planar surfaces.
Download: 3 Tricky Shapes.zip that contains an assembly file and three part files to learn more about creating non planar surfaces using various techniques.
Features: Boundary Surfaces, Extruded Surfaces, Filled Surface, Knit Surface, Thicken, Delete Face, Mutual, Standard Trims, Chord Width Fillets, Split Line, Shells, Delete/Keep Bodies…, and a Sweep with guide curve. There is an example of a Filled Surface with a Constraint curve.
