SOLIDWORKS Part Reviewer: Moderate Sheet Metal Part Five Tutorial

Moderate Sheet Metal Part Five: This part is created using sheet metal features so that the part can be flattened out to create a flat pattern. The first feature is a flat plate where the side flanges will be added throughout the design. With this part, we added some edge flanges separately because it was not tangent to adjacent edge. We could not add all edge flanges in one feature because two of the edges were not tangent to the adjacent straight edges. The bend relief created in previous feature allowed the flange to be created (eliminated tangency requirement). Check out the Moderate Sheet Metal Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4 Part Reviewer tutorials to learn more.
