Ocean Day Tutorial with SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids

Water, the source of life, intrigues and fascinates us. Yet, this precious resource is polluted by the way we consume it. Dassault Systèmes, through its initiative Water for Life,  wants to address this challenge, and offers, through Virtual worlds, tremendous accelerators for measuring and optimizing the water footprint of businesses, supporting the growth of sustainability-focused innovation and empowering future generations through education.

On June 8, this is Ocean Day so what about having your students (4-14) involved in this celebration by designing how the Ocean inspires them with our SOLIDWORKS  Apps For Kids free app.

Kids can get inspired by this video, kindly created by our value added reseller in South Africa, @AMP-ACADEMY, showing how to design an octopus.

For Educators

Simply go to www.solidworks.com/AppsForKids-Classroom, create your classroom account, set up accounts and have your students get creative straight away. Then share their designs on social media mentioning #OceanDay and #SWA4K.

For Parents

#Parents you want to involve your #kids into water preservation while fostering their creativity? Create their account on www.solidworks.com/AppsForKids, ask them to illustrate Ocean Day, then participate in the Challenge by sharing their designs mentioning #OceanDay and #SWA4K.
