3DEXPERIENCE in the Classroom Leads to New Certifications

As more educators adopt the 3DEXPERIENCE cloud-based technology platform, they begin to explore beyond the 3D CAD apps. The xDesign app allows you to create prismatic components, the next gen SOLIDWORKS technology is a software application with all software & component information in the cloud. The xShape app allows you to create very ergonomic shapes, similar to working with digital clay. These apps have a connection to each other and to SOLIDWORKS desktop.

In the classroom, the educator performs many tasks to explore concepts of product design with students. There are apps in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform that work together to make a enhanced holistic approach to the collaborative classroom experience. Brainstorming, Project Management, Product Life Cycle, all play a critical role in completing the engineering design process.

These new apps have enhanced the SOLIDWORKS Academic Certification Provider offerings to not only include skills-based certification in SOLIDWORKS desktop but new introductory certifications to 3DEXPERIENCE roles included in our cloud offering, 3DDesigner for Education. Your students can take these exams to help prepare them in a very competitive job market. Also, certification exams provide you easier delivery in a virtual environment to prove fundamental and advanced design competencies.
