SOLIDWORKS Certification Celebrates 400,000!

Sometime over this weekend, we passed 400,000 certified SOLIDWORKS users and sometime between leaving work in a Boston snowstorm and traveling to DS HQ outside of Paris we reached 401,134. Wow! What an accomplishment for SOLIDWORKS users all over the world.    These exams are available to our commercial users on subscription at no cost through the SOLIDWORKS Customer Portal.

Information about the SOLIDWORKS Certification program is available here.

Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA), Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional (CSWP) and Certified SOLIDWORKS Expert (CSWE) have become the credentials to celebrate.    Through the 3DEXPERIENCE Certification Center you can post your achieved certifications and job-ready skills.  Employers can find job-ready candidates.

Academic Institutions on subscription can apply to become Certified Academic Providers.  The exams are given in 13 different languages.

In 2003, I took the  Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional (CSWP) exam.  At that time, the exam was 8 hours and graded by hand. There was only 1 certification exam.    Now unique exams are automatically graded and given in 2 – two hour segments for CSWA and other variations for CSWP and specialty exams.

At the Monroe Community College SOLIDWORKS User Group meeting,  looking up at the ceiling or along the hallway can inspire many.

Professor Dean Kerste, SW Michigan & NW Ohio User Group leader, celebrates 5 CSWE’s, 75 CSWP’s and over 200 CSWA’s throughout the school’s technology center.
