SOLIDWORKS World 2019 is coming up fast, and SOLIDWORKS Education has some fascinating and fun sessions lined up for students and educators. Perform at a Higher Level Through Certification

This session introduces SOLIDWORKS certification. Students and professionals perform at a higher levels because of certification exams. Exams are one of several critical tools to effectively teach SOLIDWORKS, and a great way for users to evaluate their knowledge and hone their skills. Attendees will learn how they can use certification to motivate students or to hone their own skills. They will learn whom to contact to get a program started at their school.

Creating a Culture of Innovation in Education – Panel Discussion

In this panel teachers will discuss how they have created a culture to allow teachers and students to be innovative. Topics include SOLIDWORKS certifications for high school students, teaching design for real-world projects and developing an innovation mindset. Attendees will learn how teachers can get high school students and beyond passionate about taking and pass exams like the CSWA, CSWP, & CSWE. This session will present ideas on how to prepare students for a constantly-evolving technological landscape, and create a culture where students expect to seek out and solve real-world problems.

xDesign in Education: What the Future Holds!

Want to learn about SOLIDWORKS xDesign and be one of the first customers to try it out? Come check out all it has to offer and what it can do! In this session, you will gain hands-on experience with xDesign and cloud CAD. Attendees will learn about xDesign and the benefits it can bring to you and your classroom! See how CAD in the cloud can make your classroom easier to manage and a great place for students to communicate and do group projects.

3D Printing: Powering Innovation – from the Classroom to Outer Space

In virtually every discipline, researchers strive to answer complex questions and educate tomorrow’s innovators. This session demonstrates how 3D printing is helping industries accomplish more than they ever dreamed and how to align for the 3D printing revolution of tomorrow. Attendees will learn how researchers and education leaders can test and prove concepts faster, eliminate barriers, explore broader research and open funding, all through the power of 3D printing. This session will explore real change through Additive Manufacturing and how leaders are already making it happen.
