SOLIDWORKS Helps Students in Drone, Robot and Vehicle Competitions
As Engineering student clubs meet at the start of a new school year, SOLIDWORKS is ready to provide student teams the best tools not only to compete but also to get the job ready skills required by industry.
SOLIDWORKS sponsorship is available for competitive student teams, SAE collegiate series, Formula Student, Formula Electric, Hybrid, AUVSI Robonation, AIAA DBF, ASCE, Solar Competitions, SHELL EcoCAR, ASABE 1/4 Scale Tractor, FIRST Robotics, VEX Robotics and more.
Our SOLIDWORKS software suite helps save you time with one user interface. Tennessee Tech BAJA Team is ranked number 1 in the world. Engineering students use SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD together with SOLIDWORKS Simulation for stress, thermal, dynamic and flow analysis.
Student teams also receive Plastics Simulation, Sustainability Simulation, SOLIDWORKS Electrical for 2D Schematic and 3D Wire Harness and SOLIDWORKS Composer for Technical Documentation (the final report).
Here is our latest video series on designing competitive Drones.

We thank the over 3000 teams that have sent us plaques, thank you cards, shirts, buttons, and even a clock (thank you Gator Motorsports). The SOLIDWORKS EDU team looks forward to seeing you compete on the track, across the arena, exploring “Mars”, or in the pool! Marie
