UMASS Lowell Rover Hawks Win NASA Competition


The TASK: Build a functional robot in 3 months and communicate with it 2000 miles away.


The UMASS Lowell Rover Hawks combined mechanical, electrical, computer programming and 3 cameras to win the simulated MARS Rover competition sponsored by NASA


Engineering students James Dalphond, Eric McCann, and Professor Holly Yanco appeared on NECN to talk about their robot.
