Synthesizing Linkages in SolidWorks

 

Check out this video showing how to accurately synthesize linkage systems within SolidWorks.  Synthesis for two and three different position systems is shown with the help of sketch blocks.  This technique is a good way to figure out the placement for linkages and easily determine the best shape for the links.  I hope this will help you understand and design linkage systems.
