Fracture Mechanics

FracturemechanicsThis lesson explores the use of SolidWorks and CosmosWorks to model and study fundamentals of fracture mechanics.  This lesson will be part of Introduction to Material Science course taught at Sophomore/Junior Years at college level.  The class will first find the results by conventional analytical methods and then we will find them using CosmosWorks (finite element analysis).   Contributed by Emmanuel Enemuoh, Minnesota.
