Determining Beam Stress and Deflection with COSMOSXpress

This lesson explores determining stress and deflection for a simply loaded cantilever beam.  We will first find the results by conventional analytical methods and then we will find them using COSMOSXpress (finite element analysis).  We will also explore changing the cantilever beam geometry.  Contributed by Herbert Crosby.
