Lesson Plan: Radius, Diameter and Area
This lesson develops a circle that will be part of a cylinder developed into a glass test tube. The lesson describes the relationship between diameter and radius and area of a circle. SolidWorks displays diameter by default. The circle is extruded from the Top Plane to create a cylinder. Area of the sketched circle, multiples of 10, PI approximation and lateral surface area are also explored.
