What’s New in 3DEXPERIENCE DraftSight R2024x FD03

Who’s a fan of bookmarks? Personally, I think it’s good practice to use them, and I use them religiously to keep my files organized so I can quickly find and manage them on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

The latest functional delivery (FD) update of 3DEXPERIENCE DraftSight, R2024x FD03, has some great time-saving bookmark enhancements that provide faster options to access bookmarks and help you stay organized.

Here’s what’s new.

Ability to Batch Save Files to a Bookmark – stay organized by saving multiple files to a bookmark.

You now have the option to save your files to a previously created bookmark when using the Batch Save functionality when saving files to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

This makes it easier to organize your files when saving them to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform so you can find them more quickly later.

Please note this applies to 3DEXPERIENCE DraftSight Professional, Premium, and Mechanical.

Access Bookmarks through the Open Dialog – access your content more quickly.

You can also access bookmarks faster than ever as there is a new option from the Open Dialog menu.

You can easily find and open recent content on your machine using File Explorer, or on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform using 3DSearch, and now open bookmarks with the new “Bookmarks” option.

Previously you’d have to go to the platform, look up your file that was saved to a bookmark, and then you’d have to drag and drop to open it, but now that access is right at your fingertips.

This enhancement applies to 3DEXPERIENCE DraftSight Professional, Premium, Mechanical, and Collaborative Designer for DraftSight.
