The Best of 3DEXPERIENCE World 2024

3DEXPERIENCE World 2024…it seems like just yesterday we gathered in Dallas, Texas, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of SOLIDWORKS/3DEXPERIENCE World. However, winter rolled into spring, which rolled into summer, and now there are roughly 225 days before we meet again, in Houston. Time does indeed fly.

During our time in Dallas, we heard about the past and future of Dassault Systèmes. The General Sessions were jam-packed with information starting with SOLIDWORKS  from Gian Paolo Bassi, Senior Vice President of 3DEXPERIENCE Works; Bernard Charlès, Dassault Systèmes Executive Chairman of the Board; and Manish Kumar, SOLIDWORKS CEO.

We also heard from customers like Gluxkind, DBOX, Tessy Plastics, Proteus Motion, Flowserve, B&S Technologies, Tigoona, and Pillbot. Qartos launched its Compact Logistics Vehicle. Keynote speakers Lonnie Johnson, Aneesa Muthana and Paddy Lowe spoke about renewable energy, benefits of DEI in the workplace, and tackling design challenges (among other things), respectively.

Outside connecting with other members of our fabulous community, one reason to attend a User Conference is to learn from others during the breakout sessions. Several survey comments post-event targeted the inability to be in more than one place at a time and wishing to attend more sessions.
