Don’t Forget to Save the Date for 3DEXPERIENCE World 2024!
3DEXPERIENCE World 2024, will be held in Dallas, Texas from February 11-14, 2024, just about 180 days from now. Are you excited? I’m excited.
Let me take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Brenda Monahan, and I am responsible for the event strategy around 3DEXPERIENCE World. I joined SOLIDWORKS back in 2005 as an Executive Assistant and have attended every SOLIDWORKS World and 3DEXPERIENCE World since 2006 in Las Vegas. To those who have attended SOLIDWORKS World or 3DEXPERIENCE World events over the past ten or so years, my face may be familiar as I have appeared in several “Don’t Miss the Demo” skits, and this past year, I stepped on stage with the team in “Platform Jones and the Lost Features.” Heck, I even had a cameo in the highlight reel from 2006!
I remember that first SOLIDWORKS World in Las Vegas. I was nervous and overwhelmed when I arrived, but the days flew by and I left that event with the greatest feeling of pride. And I may have driven my family nuts when we went shopping and I pointed out products designed using our software. Also, I sat in the Koenignsegg on the showcase floor, so there was that bragging point.
Over the years, I have managed different projects and was fortunate to be the handler for several of our keynote speakers. As a history geek, my favorite experience was walking through the San Antonio convention center with Captain James Lovell, Jr. and Gene Kranz back in 2011. Honestly, I just got chills watching this recap; I might have to watch Apollo 13 again.
I doubt any of us expected, as we bid each other farewell in 2020 in Nashville, that we would not see each other in person for three years. I, for one, was very excited to be back in Nashville for 3DEXPERIENCE World 2023. I was excited to see customers, resellers, vendors, and colleagues with whom I’ve built relationships over the past 18 years. I loved seeing people at General Session, the Off-Site Event, in the halls between breakout sessions. Tracey B. Wilson summarized that feeling in the Day 1 recap on LIVE when she said, “I could feel the energy, the excitement of everyone…just so happy to be back in the room together…it was beautiful…”
Okay, enough about me. As excited as I am about my new role, 3DEXPERIENCE World 2024 is for YOU and I want to be the first to remind you to SAVE THE DATE and join us February 11-14, 2024 in at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas! We will be in person again this year and there will be many opportunities see your friends, network with your peers, and learn more about the software that helps you do your jobs.
Last year we held over 300 User Sessions, 64 Hands-on Workshops, and 35 MeetUp sessions. These sessions provide a great opportunity for you to advance your career and learn about the latest design tools, techniques, functionality, and best practices.

Over 130 individuals sat for their certification exams at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2023, and 76 were awarded certification. Join the ranks of the CSWE, CSWP, and other certified users in 2024 where you will once again have the opportunity to take the exam onsite. Stay tuned for more information on certification opportunities at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2024.
The Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE Playground is always a great place to explore new tools and solutions, and we look forward to welcoming you there. The 3DEXPERIENCE Theater, Shop floor, Model Mania, Maker Zone, Education Zone, and more will be back for 2024.
Finally, the offsite event will return in 2024. This is my favorite networking event. It’s an opportunity to chat with customers, resellers, sponsors, and colleagues. Last year, we gathered for the “Bash on Broadway” and enjoyed good food, drink, and music. Announcements about our offsite event will be posted soon!
