SolidWorks Teachers Go To Summer Camp in Tokyo

EDU Summer Camp 2014_discussion

Summer camp isn’t just for kids.  This week, SolidWorks Japan is hosting a summer camp – just for teachers. Teachers are dedicated to their students and want to learn how to apply new technology in their classroom.

On the first day, teachers learn to design in SolidWorks.  On the second day, teachers concentrate on reverse engineering and exploring practical hands-on activities to share with their students.

Working in teams, the teachers assemble and  measure each part.  Then they model and assemble all the components using SolidWorks.

Teachers learn additive manufacturing techniques with 3D Printer technology.

Thank you Japanese teachers for going to summer camp and to my colleague Junko Arai  for sharing with the SolidWorks community.  Marie
