12 SolidWorks Tutorials for Technical/Vocational Instruction

Lesson5400 Under the direction of instructor Jack van den Broek , Vakcollege Dr. Knippenberg, Netherlands and SolidWorks Benelux, these 12 tutorials are excellent for technical-vocational instruction.  All in easy to read step-by-step instructions and every part can be machined, folded or formed.  I met Jack again at SolidWorks World this year and he presented me with additional tutorials to share with his fellow educators.  Not matter what the age, every student can learn SolidWorks.  Exercises incorporate Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) topics.  With practice students can also prepare for their Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA)  exam.  Marie

Wow! These are great tutorials! I am an Application Engineer with a SolidWorks VAR and I also teach SolidWorks at a community college in St. Louis, MO. I’ve been looking for some free lessons and exercises like those available to SolidWorks VAR’s that I could use at the community college. I will definitely be utilizing these to help prepare my class for the CSWA exam. Thanks for sharing!

I had the opportunity to meet Jack this year at SolidWorks World 2009. What an inspiration to me. I continuely like to push my students and will be utilizing some of these tutorials as follow the leader opening to SolidWorks functionality. I really enjoy the tic-tac-toe tutorial. I am actually going to use this as a modeling challenge and while I review their models and assemblies the class will participate in a class wide tic-tac-toe tournament to hone their pin to hole assembly mating skills.

    Thanks Jack!!!!!

    Hello Jack,

I am an advanced user of ProEngineer and am starting to use SolidWorks. Of course this will take some time, but I find SW very user friendly and intuitive. I am looking for resources to make this transition faster. Is there any book such as SW for ProE users? It seems I will just need to learn this new language. I do a lot of consumer product surfacing and plastics development. I appreciate any help you may have for me. Thank You.
