Education Leader Pat Haley Creates SOLIDWORKS Cluster Wheel Vehicle for Fun STEM Learning

“It’s Unstoppable. Critics call it a menace. Warning! Stay out of its path!” Those are the words educator, Pat Haley uses to describe his latest tutorial, Cluster Wheel Vehicle (CWV).

Created in SOLIDWORKS 2025 for students, educators and makers, the CWV has chain driven axles and gear driven wheels.

Pat got the idea from an old Popular Mechanics magazine with some initial illustrations and patent research.

Then his creativity took over to create the individual components in SOLIDWORKS – with instructions to do so.

Pat added, “Watch the video and you’ll heed the warning.”

The CWT assembly is truly impressive.

You can find the all new 2025 SOLIDWORKS CWV tutorials here!

Don’t forget that your students can save an eDrawing to show their friends – right on their mobile phone.

Thank you Pat for creating Cuda Country and for sharing your SOLIDWORKS STEM lessons with the SOLIDWORKS Community.

Design well, Marie
