Exploring Trigonometric Ratios

Unitcircle_2  This lesson allows students to examine trigonometric ratios on circles of varying radii, thereby discovering that these ratios remain constant regardless of the radius of the circle. Students will then construct a circle of radius 1 and compare the trigonometric ratios found earlier with the x and y coordinates of the point of intersection of the radius and circumference of the circle.  Contributed by Melody Thomas, Alabama.
