SOLIDWORKS Tech Tip – Region Render
In this week’s Visualize Quick tip, let’s show you how to dramatically save time for re-renders. Sometimes highly detailed scenes can take a while to render out. If you’ve updated only a small part of the scene, why wait to render out the whole image again? Instead, select only a small region to render using the, you’ve guessed it Region Render setting. By selecting a small area to render, you will cut down on the rendering time significantly. A good example of this is if you’ve only changed to color of a specific part or changed the lighting and want to composite in just a single part with the updated lighting into your final image. After you’ve rendered out the region, simply combine it with your original image in a photo editor like Photoshop.
