SOLIDWORKS Part Reviewer: Housing Snap Hook Tutorial
Housing Snap Hook: To begin, a Boss Extrude is used as the main body exterior shape. Fillets are used to refine the exterior shape of the model. The Insert Part feature is used to make the Power Prong. Another Boss Extrude is used to extrude the material to remove undercuts created by the shell, and to add supports for the Power Prongs. The Mirror Feature is used for the support ribs and to create the opposite side of the housing.
