Thank You For Your Service Adam Herrera and Veterans Everywhere

Friday, November 11 is Veteran’s Day in the United States.  The day honors American Veterans.  We thank all Veterans for their service.

This month, we lost our colleague, veteran, firefighter, policeman, and friend, Adam Herrera.

Adam was integral member of the SOLIDWORKS community and member of our inside sales team.  If a veteran called the “800” number, Adam was there to help.  He would recommend our SOLIDWORKS Military Veterans Program  (MVP) where any US or Canadian veteran can receive the SOLIDWORKS and learn new skills. Adam knew our resellers and would recommend free classes to veterans available through special workforce development programs.  For the veterans wanting to start a business, Adam was there too to talk about our 3DEXPERIENCE Works Start up program.  Funny thing – this was not part of Adam’s job, but he was always there to help veterans, his teammates and our customers.

If there was a veteran question that Adam could not answer, I would find him in my office.  With my colleague Chris Morse, who manages the MVP program, Adam would talk about a veteran’s issue and we would figure out a solution that would put a smile on Adam’s face.

Adam, you will truly be missed in our SOLIDWORKS Community. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Veterans, Adam’s work lives on,  the SOLIDWORKS Community is here to help you, through the MVP program: solidworks.com/mvp

3DEXPERIENCE Works Startup Program:  https://www.solidworks.com/startups

and SOLIDWORKS User Group Network.

Thank you for your service.
