Khmelnytskyi National University Ukraine Prepares Students for Mechanical Engineering Careers

Khmelnytskyi National  University is currently one of the largest educational institutions in Western Ukraine, with around 15,000 students.  For over three years, it has carried out Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) exams to educators and students in a dedicated SolidWorks Center.    

 As students move through the University, they have the opportunity to specialize in areas such as:

  • Manufacturing engineering
  • Metal-cutting equipment or tools production
  • Equipment of light industry, general services, processing and food industries
  • Electrical appliances
  • Restoration and improvement of wear resistance of machine elements

 This year, Viacheslav Kharzhevskyi, associate professor, SolidWorks Center,Khmelnytskyi  National  University, organized the 15th International Contest, on CAD and Computer Modeling in Machine Building.  Students and educators from Ukrainian, Russian, and Belarusian universities not only participated in the contest but also took the CSWA exam.
