Aldebaran NAO Robot Introduces SolidWorks World 2012

SolidWorks World NOA robot
SolidWorks customers design amazing products.  So when the General Session of SolidWorks World 2012 opened, it was great to see an innovative humanoid robot, designed by Aldebaran Robotics of Paris, France.  Aldebaran’s NAO robot opened the show by introducing CEO Bertrand Sicot to 5000 designers and engineers that celebrate using SolidWorks software.

Educators are always looking for ways to inspire students and show innovation in the classroom.  NAO can mesmerize a room.

Aldebaran Robotics started out in research universities in computer engineering, electrical engineering and mechatronics.

Aldebaran has created curriculum and a visual programming language to appeal to technology education in high school for Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) competencies.

Physiology and medical departments at universities are also exploring the use of NAO with machine/human interaction.
