SolidWorks for the Senior Capstone Design Project – Heat Transfer Made Easy

Beercan-sm
As a senior mechanical engineering student, understanding 4 years of theory to solve a complex problem is a challange.  This Fall, SolidWorks puts together a series of Simulation videos to explain complex problems with SolidWorks Simulation tools that simplify the process.  The "Beer Can BBQ Conundrum" is intended for students of legal drinking age to review how conduction, convention, and radiation are used together with SolidWorks to solve a classic problem.  Any alumnium beverage container may be substituted.  This video series contains white papers and case studies to help students understand that validating a product brings about many questions in the engineering design process that can be solved through SolidWorks Simulation.  Marie
