MATE ROV Underwater Robot Competition

Fitting  The Marine Technology Advanced Education (MATE) Center coordinates an international student ROV competitions and regional ROV contests for middle school, high school, home school, community college and universities.  The students from Kealakehe High School under the direction of Lawrence Rice created eight parts based on affordable PVC pipe and fitting available at most hardware stores.  The parts were utilized in their underwater robot.  Contributed by Kyle, Nakoa, Conrad, and Nick from Kona, Hawaii
