2023 SOLIDWORKS Champion of the Year Eric Beatty Visits Dassault Systèmes HQ
In June, Dassault Systèmes hosted our SOLIDWORKS 2023 Champion of the Year, Eric Beatty, at our headquarters in Vélizy, France. Eric has been exceptional in his unparalleled dedication and devotion to using SOLIDWORKS and constantly sharing his knowledge with so many others – either in user group meetings or in the SOLIDWORKS User Forum for the last 28 years.
During Eric’s HQ campus visit, he had the opportunity to engage with the Vice-President 3DS Global Brand executive, Philippe Laufer, meet members of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform R&D team to discuss the innovative work and ongoing projects under way in that department, and experience the cutting-edge projects being imagined and developed in the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab. It was a remarkable occasion where our team could personally express their gratitude and appreciation for Eric’s long-standing commitment and invaluable contributions to the SOLIDWORKS community.
The endless enthusiasm and passion Eric has shared over the years decades with the SOLIDWORKS community, and the impact he has had on users around the world has been profound and we were so happy to recognize and celebrate Eric’s contributions with the visit. His dedication is really proven by his activity numbers from our SOLIDWORKS communities:
- Over 2,000 answers that enable other users in the SOLIDWORKS User Forum
- Over 240 answers in SOLIDWORKS News & Info
- Over 200 engagements encouraging and helping out makers in the MAKERS | Made in 3D
We look forward to many more years of innovation and collaboration by Eric, with our SOLIDWORKS users within our communities and his sharing his voice and experiences with the Brand in the name of continual improvement over time.
