October is Busy for User Groups

A quick look at the SWUGN Meeting Calendar shows 21 meetings scheduled for October.  Included in that total are two new groups:

Bakersfield Area SolidWorks User Group
After years of slow growth, the Southern California area is rapidly gaining user groups.  The latest addition is the Bakersfield group headed up by Wes Mosier – author of The Piping and Tubing Design Guide for SolidWorks Routing.  Wes’s group joins the long established LA/OC and San Diego groups, and recently formed groups in the Temecula Valley and Lancaster, to provide additional coverage for SoCal.

North Queensland SolidWorks User Group
The other new group is a bit farther away – Queensland, Australia.  The Australia/New Zealand region has long been a hotbed of SolidWorks User Groups, and the Queensland group brings the number of SolidWorks/COSMOS groups to eight.  David Cole is the new group’s leader.

Congratulations to the newest members of the SolidWorks User Group Network.

My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
