3DEXPERIENCE World Sneak Peek Week
Are you interested in 3DEXPERIENCE® World 2025 but not quite sure if you should register yet…or at all?
Check out our latest three-part SOLIDWORKS Live series, 3DEXPERIENCE World Sneak Peek Week. During these episodes, we dive into announcements from the conference, technical sessions that will be offered, and special attractions at the conference, specifically through the lens of DESIGN, SIMULATION and MANUFACTURING.
Beginning with DESIGN, our host Sean O’Neill recaps the year of SOLIDWORKS with Bruce Holway (Product Definition Director at SOLIDWORKS) and Cloud Apps with Chris Pagliarini (Product Portfolio Manager at Dassault Systèmes).
Both guests discuss some of the new functionality in SOLIDWORKS 2025 (all of which you can learn about from our What’s New page here and highlighted in our What’s New 2025 episode here) as well as new offers such as Cloud Apps for Makers. This discussion includes things like the implementation of AI in design processes, the best apps for students, and much more.
Next, Bruce and Chris tease some of the big DESIGN announcements that will be featured at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2025. Without giving too much away, both Bruce and Chris continue to hint that AI will play a key role in the conference for attendees.
Bruce and Chris then provide a preview of the types of technical sessions that will be offered for both SOLIDWORKS as well as the Cloud Apps, promising hundreds of courses with invaluable information for everyone who attends.
Next up is a teaser for the other “attractions” that DESIGN will offer attendees at the conference, including certification events, usability testing, and so much more.
In our SIMULATION episode, Sean sits down with Srikrishna Chittur (Go-to-Market Leader, 3DEXPERIENCE Works) and Delphine Genouvrier (Product Management Director, SIMULIA) to discuss the role that SIMULATION will play at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2025 and touch on noteworthy highlights from 2024.
Again, without spoiling any major announcements, Srikrishna and Delphine tease what’s to come at the conference with an underlying theme of unified modeling and simulation, also known as MODSIM. Another hint regarding SIMULATION highlights at the conference…you won’t want to miss a key customer who will be featured on-stage.
Much like the DESIGN episode, our SIMULATION guests talk about the numerous benefits of the conference’s technical sessions. They highlight things like customer use cases, the always-popular Tips and Tricks presented by Dassault Systèmes partners, and finally, the transformation from purely design-based SOLIDWORKS customers to platform users through SIMULATION. We also learn about the various types of simulation that the technical sessions at the conference will cover.
Finally, Srikrishna and Delphine discuss SIMULATION attractions at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2025, including key customers in the playground as well as general session speakers and breakout sessions.
In our final episode of this series, we focus on MANUFACTURING at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2025. Sean is joined by Mike Buchli (Partner Sales Manager Expert, Dassault Systèmes) and Devin Malone (CEO, DELMIAWorks) to talk about the ways conference attendees will get to experience MANUFACTURING in Houston.
After Mike discusses many of the MANUFACTURING highlights from 2024, we’re then treated to some teasers as to what attendees can expect to see at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2025 in February.
Devin then discusses “the connected worker” and how design and manufacturing are combined with tools like DELMIAWorks. DELMIAWorks users will also be treated to over three dozen enhancements that will help increase productivity across the board.
Lastly, Mike and Devin discuss the technical breakout sessions that will be offered, featuring MANUFACTURING topics and those specific to DELMIAWorks. The goal is to bring design and manufacturing together using the platform tools Dassault Systèmes offers its users. DELMIAWorks users can enjoy additional training with technical sessions, as they will expand the scope of value they get from their system.
No 3DEXPERIENCE World would be complete without an enormous exhibit known as the Shop Floor, which allows MANUFACTURING to truly shine with machining demonstrations and so much more. “If you think you are too cool for SOLIDWORKS, come see the rest of us because we have things that will blow your mind,” says Buchli.
Not only will DELMIAWorks be represented in this Shop Floor space, but DELMIA Advanced Digital Manufacturing roles tailored to the mainstream will be on full display, along with Birds-of-a-Feather networking sessions that everyone can enjoy. You can read more about what’s happening in the Shop Floor in this blog.
Overall, this series offers a sneak peek at what’s to come from the three biggest domains at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2025. The episode offers so much to whet your appetite and encourage you to register for the conference.
