Speak Now or Pay Full Admission

The SolidWorks World Conference and Exposition is a short 4-1/2 months away.  Registration is open, and it’s already too late to be the first registrant.  It’s not too late to take advantage of the $200early-bird discount, but that offer ends September 21st.  And if you wait until after December 14th, the price goes up again.

But there is a nifty way to earn FREE admission to SolidWorks World, and all it takes is a willingness to share what you know about SolidWorks (and perhaps overcoming a fear of public speaking). Presenting a technical session at SolidWorks World may be one of the best job-related experiences you’ve ever had.

Visit the SolidWorks World website and click on the Call-for-Papers link to submit your abstract.  SolidWorks Corporation reviews submissions on a weekly basis, so you’ll be notified very soon if your session has been accepted.

If you are accepted, and would like a chance to polish up your session, considered presenting at a local user group meeting or monthly SWUGN Technical Summit.  Contact me for information on getting scheduled for one of these events.

My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
