SOLIDWORKS Tech Tip: 3D Drawing View Mode

Creating and presenting drawings for parts and assemblies is an important step in any design process. In some cases, it may be made difficult to see specific areas of the model in that drawing view. This typically results from the model geometry getting in the way of seeing certain features based on the view angle. In any case, this problem can be easily solved using the 3D Drawing View mode. This mode allows you to rotate the drawing views out of their standard viewing plane in order to adjust the angle and view the area you’re looking for.
