5 Reasons You Should Speak at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2023

The deadline to submit your ideas for a presentation at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2023 in person in Nashville or online to the world is fast approaching. We still have room for your great ideas and want to include you in this year’s amazing event.  Deadline to submit your amazing proposals is October 21st.

If I remember correctly this event marks my 20th “World,” and I have presented at all but two of them. At those events I could be found on stage during the general session and helping out in the demo booth and hands-on rooms. So why do I do it, and why do I think you should do it too? Great questions! Here are my top five reasons to present at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2023:

  1. We are engineers and we love to talk about how we can solve problems elegantly and efficiently. If you have been using your solution from SOLIDWORKS, I’m sure you have picked up some neat workflows that others can benefit from. Users love to hear from other users on how they get their job done.
  2. It’s a great networking opportunity.  The conversations you have after your talk will open many doors to new opportunities. Many speakers over the years have ended up with job offers or new clients after presenting at World.
  3. It is a great door opener.  You do a great presentation at 3DEXPERIENCE World, you might find that you’re asked to present at another conference, or a company meeting, or industry event!
  4. It’s a fantastic achievement to add to your resume (especially if you win a Speaker award).  Employers are always looking for individuals who put themselves out there and are willing to share their knowledge.  Let’s face it – that means you are a team player as well.
  5. And lastly, there are some real tangible benefits. We don’t need your final presentation right now, just your proposed title and a brief, but please do provide a compelling, session description with a basic outline of the class.  Just enough information so that the Agenda Chairs can make good decisions during the selection process.  Then if your proposal is selected,  you will still have a couple of months to pull the rest together!  Easy peasy!

So don’t delay and submit your idea today. The more crafty of you will submit the same presentation for both the in-person and virtual events that way you will get the free pass to attend the live event AND the Speaker Swag kit.  If you are already doing the work for the presentation, why not get the most out of it!
